The device is not only used for data storage - it is an integration of a file server, backup device and print server with another rich application superstructure for both office and home use. It is fully software-equipped and has a close connection to the Internet and multimedia applications. Other applications can be easily uploaded - there are dozens of application packages available, such as Antivirus, VPN, Mail server, publishing, ERP and CRM systems, or a comprehensive Surveillance system (IP cameras). Future disk capacity upgrades can be handled easily and on the fly. Just add a disk to a free slot and mount it to an existing volume, the NAS can also swap disks for larger ones, as well as migrate RAID arrays to a higher level.

The strong point is also remote access incl. Mobile applications. For easier setup, the QuickConnect function is available - without the need to set router ports.
