Wi-Tek WI-PS306GF-UPS-15A V2 is a solar powered Gigabit PoE switch with UPS functionality featuring a switching capacity of 12 Gbps, (5) Gbit PoE ports and (1) SFP slot. The integrated MPPT controller optimizes solar panel performance by monitoring voltage in real time and ensuring efficient battery charging. It manages power flow between solar panels, the battery, and connected loads, allowing the system to operate on solar energy during the day and on battery power at night. The switch consumes <5W (without PoE load).
The switch has two solar inputs and cannot be connected to a DC source simultaneously, making it optimized for solar-only systems. However, the solar input cannot power the switch independently without a connected battery. The maximum charging current is 15A.

The front DIP switch controls the following modes:
- PoE Watchdog - automatically restarts inactive PoE devices
- VLAN - enables port isolation, where each PoE port can transmit data only to the uplink port
- Extend - extends the transmission distance of PoE ports up to 250m at 10Mbps speed
- Port4 24V - switches between 24V passive PoE and PoE+ on port 4
- Port5 24V - switches between 24V passive PoE and PoE+ on port 5
- The rear DIP switch sets the battery type (see table in the quick installation guide)
