SAS has two redundancy ports, so it eliminates individual points of failure and enables higher reliability and performance. When a SATA drive with QDA-SA is installed in an Enterprise ZFS NAS with dual controllers, the SATA drive can share these benefits of two SAS ports to provide a highly available, fault-tolerant enterprise storage environment.
