MikroTik hEX S is a compact, powerful, and affordable wired router that is an ideal choice for smart homes or small offices. The device features 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, with Ether1 supporting PoE-in and Ether5 offering PoE-out, allowing you to power another device directly from the router. The PoE-out voltage matches the input voltage supplied to the router. One of its main advantages is the 2.5G SFP port, which enables you to fully utilize high-speed connections — such as to a NAS server or your ISP's fiber network. The router can be powered via a 12–57V DC jack, 18–57V PoE-in, or the 802.3af/at standard.

Excellent hardware and software

Inside, you'll find a dual-core ARM processor running at 950 MHz and 512 MB of RAM, providing enough power for more demanding networking tasks. The RouterOS v7 operating system offers advanced features such as VLANs, bonding, traffic shaping, advanced routing, and more — all without the need to purchase additional licenses or upgrades.
